Schedule for Cleaning

At the end of your tenancy you will be expected to leave the property and garden in a clean and tidy condition, below are specific points to consider.

A. General

  1. Windows cleaned inside
  2. Windows cleaned outside
  3. Exterior doors cleaned inside and out
  4. All internal paint work washed down
  5. All internal doors washed
  6. Damp dust above door frames and any pictures or mirrors
  7. Carpets shampooed/shampooed professionally
  8. All other floors washed
  9. All mirrors polished
  10. All light fittings dusted
  11. All light shades dusted
  12. All light bulbs to be working
  13. Inside of all cupboards cleaned
  14. All curtains washed/dry cleaned where necessary
  15. All curtain poles/rails to be dusted
  16. Radiators washed down
  17. Chimney swept
  18. Fireplace cleaned out and surround washed down
  19. All wall mounted shelves cleaned
  20. All internal kitchen/waste bins washed out

B. Bathrooms/En-Suites/WCs

  1. Baths cleaned
  2. Taps cleaned
  3. Bath side panels cleaned
  4. Shower screens cleaned inside and out
  5. Tiled splash backs/sills cleaned
  6. Wash basin cleaned
  7. WCs cleaned inside and out
  8. Bathroom cabinets cleaned inside and out
  9. Extractor fans cleaned
  10. SCALE REMOVED

C. Kitchen/Utility Rooms

  1. Cupboards cleaned inside
  2. Cupboard doors cleaned inside and out
  3. Tops of cupboards/units cleaned
  4. Cupboard door handles cleaned
  5. Walls to be washed where greasy
  6. Tiled splash backs/sills washed
  7. Work surfaces washed
  8. White goods cleaned inside and out
  9. Cooker hood cleaned
  10. New grease filter(s) fitted
  11. New cooker hood bulbs fitted where necessary
  12. Oven/grill cleaned inside and out
  13. Grill pan and rack cleaned
  14. Oven shelves cleaned
  15. Sinks cleaned
  16. Taps cleaned
  17. Plugs and chains cleaned
  18. Inner baskets cleaned
  19. Draining rack cleaned
  20. Extractor fans cleaned
  21. Behind white goods/cooker cleaned where possible
  22. Fridge and freezer cleaned - freezer defrosted

D. Exterior

  1. Garage cleared of rubbish and swept
  2. Garage doors washed down
  3. Shed(s) cleared of rubbish and swept
  4. Patio areas/courtyards weeded and swept
  5. Greenhouses cleared and cleaned
  6. Garden furniture washed down
  7. Window sills are wiped down.
